Calling all Community Groups

Do you want to make a difference in your area? Would you like more skills and know-how?

Calderdale Adult Learning is offering training for members of community groups, so that they can operate more efficiently and
have the best impact on the communities for whom they work.

The short courses (5 or 10 hours) can be delivered locally if there are enough people interested, or at one of our centres. Some of them are certificate courses. They are currently as follows:

• Understanding Community Development Work
• Community Development Work Skills

• Growing your Group
• Planning Activities
• Know Your Community
• Support and Resources for Groups
