Online reference resources

Introduction

Calderdale Libraries offer a range of online reference resources, free of charge.  They can all be used from any library or from home, with just 2 exceptions: Ancestry is only available within libraries and Which? is just available in those libraries which take the Which? magazine.

What's new in online resources?

• Who's Who and Who was Who
  Browse our new subscription 'Who's Who and Who was Who?' to find information on noteworthy and influential people in the UK from 1897 right up to the present day.
• 19th Century Newspapers
  22 further titles have been added to 19th Century Newspapers, including 'The Bradford Observer & Halifax, Huddersfield and Keighley Reporter' from the 1840s.
