Set in 90 acres of rolling parkland with a range of attractions including woodland, walks, an orienteering course, children’s rides, miniature railway, pitch and putt and a boating lake, Shibden is the perfect venue for a family day out. Shibden Estate is located on the A58 Leeds / Bradford Road (Godley Lane), to the east of Halifax town centre.

Please note: On Monday 6^th and Tuesday 7^th September 2010, the main gates of Shibden Park off the A58 will be closed whilst essential repair works are carried out to the main drive.  Alternative access will be provided via Godley Lane and Red Beck Road to the bottom car park.  The entrance off Shibden Hall Road will be open as usual.

Shibden Estate is accessible by bus numbers 681, 682, 548, 549, 509, 534, 227, 508, 226 from the Halifax, Bradford, Brighouse, Huddersfield and Leeds bus stations.

It is approximately 20 minutes walk (uphill) from Halifax town centre bus station and 25 minutes from the train station. It is also a 20-minute car ride from the M62 motorway.
