Getting involved
Lots of different types of help will be needed from people like you over the next 18 months to make sure the services delivered by the Partnership for Older People's Project work well and to show what a difference they are making.
Help needed includes:
- becoming a volunteer - each project has a team of professionals and older people or carers to advise on how they should develop. We are looking for more older people to join these teams. If there is a service you are particularly interested in then give that service a call. Our picture shows volunteers receiving their Volunteer Oscars!
- telling us what you think about the services, especially if you use any of them
- telling other people about the Healthy Ageing Projects
- assistance from older people who live in Halifax and Todmorden to run the neighbourhood schemes.
